- The MWR Outdoor Recreation Program office at NAS Jacksonville is located at Mulberry Cove Marina, where you can rent tents, sleeping pads, cots, camp stoves, lanterns, large grills, coolers, and turkey fryers. Scattered around the base are several beautiful parks and picnic grounds, which are equipped with shelters, restrooms, barbecue pits, ball fields, and playground equipment. Fishing is permitted on the north side of Casa Linda Lake (catch and release only) and in the St. Johns River. Fishing is not permitted from the piers at Mulberry Cove Marina. A Florida fishing license is required for anyone ages 15-65.

You can rent kayaks, bikes, and camping and snorkel gear, and buy the “Best Tracks on Guam” guidebook to support your outdoor adventures. If you’re not up for adventuring on your own, we also offer a monthly calendar of guided trips, tours and hikes, and even provide transportation to many points of interest on Guam. If your idea of outdoor fun is closer to home, Rec-n-Crew has a variety of outdoor games for rent, folding tables and chairs, and the ever-popular inflatable bounce houses for your parties. Or, you can take the party to the beach and let Rec-N-Crew reserve your favorite spot in the sun. The Sumay Cove Marina offers a variety of activities for water sports enthusiasts. Enjoy a day of sightseeing, fishing or diving on one of our powerboats, or rent the “party barge” pontoon boat for larger groups. The marina also offers fishing and dolphin watching trips.
